GIA12 VILLA
ANTIPAROS, 2018
Designed by modernist architect Nicos Valsamakis, GIA12 makes a powerful understatement. With its low volumes and classic Cycladic geometry, interior and exterior spaces flow seamlessly.
The interior design complements and supports the architectural concept: archaic simplicity in the blue and white colour scheme, and a combination of natural elements that act as a neutral palette for the impressive views and the Aegean light. Natural wood, local marble, painted iron, and linen fabrics are balanced to create a quiet and minimal atmosphere.
Custom designed seating and occasional tables are layered with contemporary furniture and lighting, along with a selection of Greek decorative antiques. The overall feeling is one of serenity.
